Emerald Princess - Unlimited Internet by September 2019?

After enjoying the unlimited internet package on the Grand on my Hawaii 3/23 - 4/7, I'm wondering how long it will take to implement this far superior system (vs minutes) across the fleet.

 

Anyone have any info on when they will expand this service?

 

I want to book cruises for next year, but after experiencing the speed and ablity to stay connected without worrying about minutes, I can't book another cruise without knowing this will be offered.

On our 15 day. It was $99 for email only. $139.99 for social package. $199.99 for streaming package.

I don't think anyone can know this.

 

Princess announced a fleet-wide roll out of on-demand television about 5 years ago.

It made it to a few ships.

 

Princess announced a medallion roll out schedule to maybe a half-dozen ships.

None of the dates were met.

 

Even if princess told you emerald would have unlimited internet in time for their

cruise, you couldn't believe them.

 

I think you best bet would be to pick the cruise you want, and make sure you have

cancel for any reason insurance.

 

If the internet package you want isn't available, cancel.
