Can you bring a heating pad on NCL ships?

21. Items brought on board the vessel and not supplied by the Company containing any kind of heating element, such as but not limited to: immersion heaters, heating blankets, clothing irons, water heaters, coffee machines with heating/hot plates, etc.

The best way to bring it onboard is to contact the Access Desk. They can certify that it as a medical device and you may bring it onboard. Be prepared for them to say NO because it can be a fire hazard

I too have back (as well as knee, elbow, and ankle) issues.
