smplybcause Posted May 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2018 I'm pretty sure you'll find people have made it and missed it in every month. I could tell you the months I've always made it and someone will come and say they missed it that month. Any tender port is a crap shoot and even docked ports can get canceled. In the Caribbean the waves are mostly influenced by storms so there's no predicting that months out. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2018 We have made it to GSC 7 of 7 times at all times of the year. Including the week before the hurricanes last year. Late summer and fall with tropical storms is more iffy. There can be a storm any time of the year.
BigNance Posted May 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2018 We went early Feb this year and GSC was a great stop! Last February (mid) it was cancelled. It depends. Good luck with your cruise!

ndame4nd Posted May 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2018 We went at the end of this past January on the Sky, and we made it. Actually, our captain switched the Nassau and GSC days so we wouldn't miss it!

What months have you had GSC cancelled!? Hoping early January 2018 Will be ok for me We went there on an early February cruise. The seas were rough but the crew worked very hard to safely have us walk the plank, so to speak, to board the tender. Truthfully it was dicey. They did not just let people go across without waiting for the middle of each swell. Being addicted to snorkling I took to the water....which was freezing! I came out a burr-cicle, even with a long sleeve rash guard on. That water temp is what I would worry about and what is keeping me from booking cruises during that time period.
