Xeroxme ;)

Lottacruises- Its not about the money its about Carnival having a maximum drink allowance, it just doesn't make sense as they are the only cruise line to enforce this rule. I find it appalling to give somebody a drink in a small glass then to upcharge them for a larger glass. Carnival is taking advantage of passengers just to get more money and their drink package is not any cheaper than other cruise lines. I hate when people get ripped off, yes, I can afford it and I don't care when it comes to me, but I do think of others.

Just fyi on Dream class ships the aft balconies have a straight down view of the water. On Magic we were about 7 or 8 rooms from the back and had to look a few rooms forward to see where deck 5 bumps out.

Some people with a lot of experience can just learn a lot about how to play those slots? There was a guy sitting next to us last cruise (my first time ever doing anything in the casino) and just one tip that he gave us really paid off.

Have you already been on an Oasis class ship? Personally, that's a no brainer to me - Carnival can't come close to what is offered on those ships, but I do understand they're not for everyone. My son returned from Oasis in February and it was too big for him and he didn't care for the Windjammer at all. He's returning to Carnival next January on Horizon but he's primarily going for the new ship and Guy's burgers.

I did the Allure last October after exclusively doing Carnival. I hated it....too big, hated the windjammer, the pool areas, the lack of ice cream :). Overall way too big and separated.

Back to Carnival -- I like everything about them--casino, pools, parties, buffet, pizza, ice cream, bands etc.
