yvonneh Posted May 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2018 We have been to Kotor before and rented cars both times, by just walking around and finding someone to rent us a car for the day. This year, I am traveling with another family and would like to have one reserved before we go, but I cannot find any by the port online. I tried Imperial but they said they have no cars available. Strange. :confused:Does anyone have any recommendations for me??? Thank you!
yvonneh Posted July 11, 2018 Author #2 Share Posted July 11, 2018 I will answer my own question in hopes to help someone else. ;) Oasis car rental is walkable from the port, and we got 2 great little cars for the day. They require cash, but it was super easy and I would rent from them again.

yvonneh Posted July 28, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Thanks el be there in two weeks and wondering about tours VS renting Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app IMHO, I would not spend the money on a tour. It is so easy to get around and see so much. The car cost us 45 euros. We went to Budva (amazing beach town, about a half hour away), went to the beach and then had a fantastic lunch. Then back to Kotor, returned the car and went to the walled city. We have been a few times, and this is one of the most beautiful places we have been. We absolutely love it. I hope you have a fantastic vacation!

Hy Falutin Posted March 27 #6 Share Posted March 27 As this last post is a few years old I wanted to see if anyone had newer experiences with car rentals at the port. Having a hard time finding one. Thanks

Rare Hlitner Posted May 31 #8 Share Posted May 31 Just a warning that Montenegro is somewhat unique in having a maximum driving age of 75. This is not just for rental cars, but for any driver. Hank
