Where is the best place to head to if you mainly want relaxing floating mat with some shade thrown in? Crossing fingers we will be able to tender in and my son gets his jet ski excursion!,

There are several areas near the beach with shade. The farther you walk from the the tender dock, the less crowded it is. Just keep walking until you find what you want.

You will have to rent the float, if you don't get a cabana or whatever includes that. There are plenty available...don't do it in advance...wait until you're there and see if you need/want one.
