Casino and Bermuda?

Recommended Posts

Although we've been to Bermuda on over a dozen times, it has always been on NCL. We'll be sailing on the Serenade of the Seas in Sept. to Bermuda this year. Will the casino open in the evening while we are docked like it does on NCL?

I have only been to Bermuda on Grandeur, but if the rules are the same (which I assume they would be), yes, the casino will open at 7PM the night(s) you are in Bermuda.

The rule is that the cruise line has to buy a license from the Bermuda government to open it in port. Royal Caribbean probaly has for Serenade but don't assume. The casino can not open until 9:00 PM on any ship that has the licence

We were on the May 5th Grandeur Bermuda cruise and the casino closed when the pilot gets on board as you approach Bermuda and reopens at 9:00pm while in port. It stays closed the next day in Bermuda until the ship clears Bermuda controlled waters and closes again when the Pilot comes on board as you enter the bay on the last night as you return to Baltimore.
