Make my day MIRACLE-ous (Yes, I know it's spelled wrong...)

We are booked for our first cruise on a Spirit class ship and I'd love to know what I shouldn't miss, or what I should expect to be significantly different. We've sailed all other classes except Spirit and Splendor.

 

Here's what I see online that looks interesting:

 

1. Gatsby's interior promenade

2. Two central Lido deck pools (is one of them covered, like on Conquest class?) It kind of looks like that in the pictures.

3. Steakhouse spans two decks

 

Anything I missed that makes this ship class unique? 37 more days!!!

Was just on the Miracle 2 weeks ago, Gatsby's Garden is worth a walk through, it's pretty and usually pretty quiet and the pool closest to the grill has a retractable roof. The Spirit-class has a very unique layout, One big 2-story dining room at the aft instead of 2 like other ships, a 2-story nightclub, there's more open space in several public areas that are a little more compact on other ships. I took a day or so to get used to it, but after that it was pretty easy to navigate.

All of the above, our group of 8 loved the Miracle and we have 1 diamond and the rest are platinum meaning we have been on most all the classes. The layout of the ship was awesome, so much easier to get around on, everything is so convenient. Loved all the seating areas all around the ship. We were on the April 14 Panama Canal cruise and have already booked another one on Miracle for August 26. Sorry to hear she'll be going back to the west coast next year.

We're going from the Horizon to the Miracle , booked a casino fare otherwise I wouldn't have even considered the older ship. Also want to sail out of Tampa one time. Was on the Miracle maybe 10 yrs ago and it was showing age back then .

She had a drydock in 2015 I believe. I didn't think she was n bad shape. Everything was clean and in good condition in April. But then I like the smaller ships. Tampa is very confusing to get into! We used GPS on phone so made it ok, but traffic was horrible going into the terminal.

Agreed, I could do without ever going to Tampa again! :D

We were on that same cruise and had a great time. Loved the ship. No issues with parking as we used Parking Doctors just around the corner from port. Half the price of port parking and they drop you off right in front.

 

I might be biased but I do love Tampa in general. I go there for concerts all the time (I live in Orlando). But even so, I didn't want to deal with port parking traffic lol.

Huge purple grapes on the walls in the MDR, that’s what I remember. I liked the secret (Gatsby) walkway too. Enjoy.

We stayed in Tampa for a couple nights before the cruise and the traffic was more than I'm used to, people were driving crazy to me, but that's probably driving normally for them :')

I normally like the crazy Farcus decor and liked a lot of it on the Miracle, but the Bacchus MDR was a bit over the top with all those "grapes" :D
