Harmony of the Seas specialty restaurants dress suggestions

Family is going on Harmony of the Seas next week and staying in Sky Class Crown Loft Suite. Question involves dinner clothing suggestions. I am the only male in group of wife and two daughters. We plan on dinners at specialty restaurants or Coastal Kitchen. If the girls are dressed up can I wear nice dress shorts, long sleeve dress shirt and dress loafers to dinner venues? Personally would rather not wear long pants if at all possible. I’d love to get thoughts on this for specialty restaurants and Coastal Kitchen.

I've worn shorts to the speciality restaurants many times. Never a problem.

There were a couple of evenings that my DH and DS wore nice shorts to CK, it was not a problem at all.

Edited to say: they do request that you do not wear shorts to CK on formal nights.

I have not seen or heard of them turning away people dresses in nice shorts at specialty restaurants.
