jeepers13 Posted May 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Okay, we've never been but will be there soon. :) It looks like it might be just a beaches & bbq kind of scene? Is this true? If you've been and would care to share your experience, what to do, etc, we would appreciate. Thanks! cb at sea Posted May 31, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2018 Basically, it's a beach day on gorgeous, relaxing beaches. Yes, lunch is served, courtesy of the ship. There are other things to do, but some will cost extra and you are under no obligation to do any of those things. Loungers are included in the day. It's not like a "real" port, where others live/work there....it's an area owned by the cruise line, for your enjoyment. If you aren't into beaches, the ship is an uncrowded place to spend the day! cruisingadget Posted June 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 14, 2018 No free food or beverages on the island... if you want to eat for free, you have to return to the ship.
lasvegascruising Posted June 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2018 That's interesting, I was there November 2017 and all food and drinks(adult and non adult)were included. I had bbq burger lunch with all kinds of salads and fruit. Also, lots of desserts to choose from. Enjoyed frozen drinks, mixed drinks and soda. Didn't pay a dime. jeepers13 Posted June 18, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Does anyone know if there is a ferry to mainland Belize available from the island? Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app
Soxfan4ever Posted June 22, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 22, 2018 My understanding about getting into Belize is that there are transfers, but only for the NCL excursions, not independent travel. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
