Excursion Upon Return to Port Canaveral Question

We actually plan on staying in Orlando overnight after our cruise. Would like to disembark at Port Canaveral and do a RCI excursion with Orlando airport drop off. We would then call a free hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport and spend the night. Is this possible? Do you keep your luggage with you during this type of excursion or does RCI send your luggage ahead to the airline? I am hoping others have done this.

Your luggage is normally stored on the same bus or orher vehicle, and returned to you outside the airport.

Sounds like a good plan.

 

They use a tour bus with the luggage/cargo area underneath. They stow your bags there. They unload them with you at the airport.
