Hotels near san juan port

We will be cruising on Freedom of the Seas out of San Juan next April.

 

I have tried to find some answers but have not been successful so hope I can get some answers here.

 

Does the ship dock at the Pan American terminal? Where on the island is this located? I believe near Old San Juan but want to verify. What hotels are the closest to this pier and how close is the pier to the airport?

Yes you will board the Freedom at the Pan AM pier which is located across the harbor from OSJ. The Pan Am pier is about a 15 to 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. Check out this link for San Juan hotel recommendations/suggestions.
