donsuz Posted June 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2018 WE, wife and myself, are gearing up for our Celebrity Solstice Alaska cruise on July 6. I am looking forward to obtaining some info about getting to the Seattle airport from the Celebrity cruise port after our cruise. Is there a nice, easy, and relatively reasonable way go. Thanks Don
Rare Gardyloo Posted June 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2018 Taxi, towncar or Uber. Couldn't be any easier. Around $50 - $60 from Pier 91 to Seatac.
CruiserBruce Posted June 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2018 Agree. Discussed here frequently. When is your flight?
Rare kctwinmommy Posted June 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2018 We used Already There town car service. We used them to get to our hotel from the airport and then again from the cruise ship to the airport.
Rare gotta cruise again Posted June 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2018 On 6/3, used Uber from pier 91 to SEA. 4 people, 9 carry-on bags (luggage went ahead of us), Uber XL (was a Lexus SUV), for $26 and change, tip additional. Easy to do with new setup at pier...absolutely no way to miss your car unless you call for it prior to getting to the pick up area. Taxis wanted $40 fixed price for up to 4 people in tiny cars. Rare gotta cruise again Posted June 7, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Can you explain how you do the set up at the pier? The Uber & Lyft rides no longer pick up pax right in front of the terminal, which can get kinda crazy with cabs and private vehicles there, no to mention if you disembark late when new pax are arriving early, the number of cars increase. Just ask any of the helpers outside the terminal where to catch a ride share car and they’ll point you in the direction. I think the shuttles in the number 1 & 2 bus slots, closest to the terminal give rides to the ride share area, which is good if you have all of your luggage. We only had our carry on bags so just walked. Once in the rideshare area, we opened the app and followed the directions for ordering a car. They have a guy on the radio near where all the Uber/Lyft cars are parked who radios to the guy right in front of the pax tent who the car is for. That 2nd guy calls out “Ride for _____ (first name)” and you now know your car is in line so you watch for make/model/plate number, load up, and on your way. Rare gotta cruise again Posted June 11, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 11, 2018 Is this the same set up for pier 91 and 66? I only know about pier 91’s set up, thanks to pierlesscruiser’s heads-up regarding ride shares there. Maybe someone on the NCL board, who has sailed from pier 66 recently, could give some insight.
