Favorite things to do in Grand Cayman

Not sure if its been mentioned yet or not, but last I heard, the ferry from the Hyatt to Rum Point is not running and they don't have an ETA on it operating again. Double check before counting on going that route.

Definitely Stingray City. I did it a couple of years ago and loved it!

Cockatoo Catamaran to Stingray City. By far the best excursion we have done on any cruise at any port.

 

did a quick google and found it only on the excursions of Carnival tours.

We got a free shore excursion from our TA when booking and we've taken the Atlantis submarine - and for good measure we've booked the helicopter tour in the afternoon; we'll fly and hover over Stingray City, Seven Miles Beach and our ship (MoS) so I'm thinking we'll have some GREAT Grand Cayman pictures when we're back :)

Anyone have info on Boatswain's Beach? According to Cruise Travel (12/2005)

"In early 2006, the Turtle Farm is scheduled to become part of Boatswain's Beach, a new 30-acre ($45 million) marine theme park that will include a huge saltwater snorkle lagoon, an aviary, an iguana sanctuary, a street ddedicated to Caymanian cuisine and heritage and much more."

 

I can't find anything on this, Anyone?

We just returnrd from the Radiance Holiday cruise. This was our third trip to Grand Cayman, but the first time we went to Stingray City. We absolutely loved it. We were the first boat out there and had the rays all to ourselves before the hordes of other tourists descended.

 

It was one of the coolest things we have done.
