pj20 Posted June 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2018 We are planning to book Highlights of Eastern Europe in 2019. On the Beatrice can dinner reservations be made for a table for 2 at a specific time? Are there any priorities given to passengers in the Grand Suite category for booking excursions or in the restaurants? This will be our first Uniworld river cruise (previously cruised with Tauck). Many Thanks for your help.
acwmom Posted June 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Uniworld has an open dining policy. You can arrive at any point while dinner is being served. I'm not sure about the Beatrice, but the Joie de Vivre only had four tables for two. And, because of the open dining policy, I'm not sure they take reservations-they didn't on the JdV. I was in a suite, and this wasn't a service that our Butler offered. On the four Uniworld cruises we've been on, the only time we've seen reserved tables was for large families traveling together. There are no priority reservations for excursions, either. The biggest advantage of the suites is the Butler service, the in-room alcohol and drinks, the afternoon snacks....... I know in the past in-room massages were offered, and dinner may have been offered in the past, on the Beatrice, but not sure if it still is, since she has transitioned to a SS.
