Seward embarkation time?

does anyone know earliest time you can check in at Seward? I thought I read some trip reports that mentioned 11am but my cruise docs say 1pm. Hotel checkout is 11am - do you know if Holland America will store bags prior to embarkation?

You can arrive at the pier by 10:30 to drop off luggage.

Check-in starts around 11 and getting onto the ship starts shortly after that.
