Taking champagne on board?

Can we take a bottle of champagne on board the Silhouette? We sail on the 7th July for a very special wedding anniversary.

No problem. You can take 2 standard bottles of any wine. If it is to drink in suite you can ask your room attendant or butler for an ice bucket. If you plan on drinking it in one of the restaurants they will chill it for you but they do charge a corkage fee of, I think, $20.

Sincere best wishes for a wonderful special anniversary cruise.

Our Golden Wedding on the 13th. Planning on having a drink in cabin with three friends who are on cruise with us, before we go to dinner. There is at least one other couple on the cruise who celebrate their 50th too.

We took 2 bottles of champagne onboard at Christmas to share with friends on New Year’s Eve. We buy it in duty free at the airport on the way out as it comes in a double box and keep room in my hand luggage for it. It turned out to be the same brand as one being sold onboard and were sent a rose version by the hotel director so we took his gift out with us to dinner that evening. It all went down a treat.
