We are going on the Gem on Saturday, what currency do I need for Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau - I'd thought US dollar but now I'm not so sure! I have a currency card and credit card but like to have some cash.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Great Stirrup Cay is the NCL island you don't need any money there, just your card. US dollars are fine in Nassau....what do you plan on buying?? Otherwise credit card is fine in Senor Frogs.

Thank you, no real plans for buying anything in particular. We have an excursion booked but like to have money to buy snacks/souvenirs etc if needed.

There is a small straw market on GSC that takes US dollars. US dollars are also good in all of the tourist areas of Nassau.
