Have fun. I see a lot of people totally dismiss Cozumel and stay on the ship but I stayed there for 11 days a few weeks ago and loved it. One of the perks of staying there ahwile is to watch the ships come and go. Lots of great restaurants and little bars. The Thirsty Cougar makes mean margaritas of all sorts. Really good ones I mean. Lots of beach clubs you could go to. Great snorkeling. Have fun. Our favorites were snorkeling tours to El Ceilio and relaxing days at Paradise Beach Club. I think the latter was $18 pp cover each day but they waived it when we told them we would stay and eat and drink. Good food and drinks and huge pool besides tons of inflatable slides, pyramids and trampolines in the water.

Thanks, LakeWobegon! I've been to Cozumel countless times and was thinking of staying on the ship, but Puerta Maya is my favorite pier. Agreed on Paradise Beach, I've spent many enjoyable days there.
