Explorer aft cabins

Just booked Explorer aft balcony 8690 and inside corner 8685. Anyone been in either cabin?

Hi Tortoni,

We have been in cabin 8390 on the Voyager,same cabin just opposite side at the rear of the ship. It is a great location. You have a wonderful view off the back and the side

and the balcony is huge. We had 2 lounge chairs,a patio table and 2 regular deck chairs.You won't regret your selection. We're sailing Explorer on Nov.7th..(aft corner) Hi-C

Thanks HiC. I was wondering if the room would be dark because there was only one door?

Hi Tortoni,

We didn't notice the room being dark. The door is glass top to bottom so it allowed plenty of light.What sailing are you booked on?

We stayed in the cabin next to that. Had cabin 8692 on the Voyager. Truly a nice place to be.

We are thinking about booking room 1674 (Deck 10) on Explorer. I'm worried because it is near the stairway. Should I be concerned?
