can you hear the bars if you're above them?

Looking at deck 6 of voyager as a possible upgrade and notice that deck 5 is shops and bars. Anyone with experience hearing the floors below them?

 

No personal experience with being above any noisy area, but I surely would not deliberately book above or below one.

 

From all I have read on many threads on CC, it would be best to avoid these areas if possible.

 

Seems the best advice we received was to book on a deck between decks which also have cabins if possible. We did so, and never heard a single thing.

 

Perhaps your particular ship is different. You could post on the thread which would cover your ship to get more response.

We were above the Casion once on the Star Princess and never heard a thing. Don't think I would book a room like that on purpose, but I don't think it would bother me if that's all they had either.
