Bar service with Cheers

How is the bar service with Cheers?

Mine has always been excellent.

I always get terrible bar service, no matter where I am or how much I tip. Wife always gets great bar service, no matter where she is.

 

I expect she'd get great service with Cheers, I would get terrible service.

Out of 7 cruises, I have had great bar service 95% of the time. The trick is the find one bar and stick to that area so that they get to know you...

Having done both pay as you go and Cheers recently, the bar service was pretty much the same either way. Mostly good with a few servers that weren't so good.

I can’t say this works every time, but early in the trip, I talk to the bartenders and get to know them. That way, when I walk up to the bar, I nod my head, say hello, and they take my order.

 

But I also enjoy talking with all the staff I meet, so it’s not a huge effort on my part.
