Belltown Posted July 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Will be sailing on Mariner for first time this November. Does the casino have a craps table?
GrJ Berkshire Posted July 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Having spent 5weeks on the Mariner, and never been in the casino. Would much prefer another cruise than donate via this 'crap' area. On our time on Regent the casino seems very underutilised by most passengers. On Navigator where you walk through to get to the back of the theatre, apart from 1 older gent who was always there, we wondered if he had a cabin!! :the one arm bandits, machines were nearly deserted. Sorry for flippant answer but have no idea what carps is.
SweetMemories Posted July 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2018 We're on the Mariner now. My husband said yes, they do have one! I asked him if the table was busy and he said he didn't pay attention. He's been playing blackjack. It doesn't seem too busy in there (when I walked through and from what he has observed). BBfromCA Posted July 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 27, 2018 If the table is not open, just ask the casino manager. If there is a free "dealer", they will move them over to the craps table.

Thanks SweetMemories! If it is not too much trouble, I would greatly appreciate knowing "how much can be wagered on an odds bet." It might be shown as Double Odds or 2X, or maybe 5X or something along those lines. Often it is shown on a little placard posted at the table itself. Again, only if it's not too much trouble. Thanks, this is good to know. Although playing alone is not much fun. :(
Pam Posted July 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2018 It's been a while since I was on a Regent ship, but I *think* I remember that the craps table wasn't full size.
pingpong1 Posted July 28, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Maybe if the "Odds" where set a bit more favorably towards the guests ("looser machines", etc.), there would be more patronage, excitement, and activity in the casino. Just a thought. I like playing the slots from time to time, and do it fairly often out here in AZ and "next door" in NV for a little fun, but if there's virtually no chance of a payout on a cruise ship machine......why bother? It isn't like they're actually going to be "losing money" on their paying passengers, right?

Does this help?: min- $5 , max $300 3x 4x 5x ODDS Just copied it from the placard on the table. It is a smaller table.
