~Elvira~ Posted January 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2006 Our ETA in Nassau is 8:00 am. When scheduling an excursion, how long should I allow for disembarking? I found a neat snorkeling tour on a catamaran that begins at 10:00 am. Is that too early?
cherylandtk Posted January 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2006 10 am should be OK. Rule of Thumb is to allow at least an hour for docked ports and longer for tendered ports. Ship excursions get first priority getting off, so you want to give yourself time to debark, find the meeting point, etc.
cruisinbuddy Posted January 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2006 cherylandtk is right, plus if the ship is late, the excursion co. will wait for the ship. We were late getting into 1 port and there was no problem. Cruisinbuddy:)
