The Hilton Molino Stucky.

 

We stayed there last month, if you'd like, I did a trip report where I discussed some of the pros and cons of staying there, bottom line, we enjoyed our stay.

That hotel is not in the best location. We took the hotel credit from Regent and booked our own hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Londra Palace the last time we were in Venice. Spent two nights before our Regent cruise. Gorgeous hotel and the

location is great! From the airport we took a water taxi directly to the hotel. It let us off right there and the hotel staff came out to get

our luggage. Perfect way to begin a trip. They called a water taxi for us when we checked out to go to the ship. So easy. We even met a couple to share it with who was also staying at the hotel and taking the cruise. Perfect!!!

We’ve decided to take our TA’s advice (and mrstanley) and stay pre-cruise at the Splendid Venice. It looks lovely on line and I trust my TA, but I’d love to read comments from others who might have stayed there

 

This will also be our first voyage on Explorer, so looking forward to that after reading all the positives here

Go to TripAdvisor and see the comments about the Splendid Hotel. I always love to check out comments about any hotel that I'm planning to stay.
