I am flying in one day before my cruise - where is a good area (hotel name would be great too) to stay that’s not crazy far from the port but still lots to see and do? Also looking for a location that’s not far from a HOHO. I’m confused if they are all over or only a few.

Not knowing your budget but just by going on great locations would be 1898 Hotel or the Jazz Hotel...both great properties and centrally located to the Las Ramblas and one of the major HOHO stops.

Have stayed at the Hotel Jazz a few times, nice hotel with a great location.

We stayed at the Hotel Arc la Rambla which is located right on La Rambla. We loved it- safe, clean, affordable, great location near the port, and friendly staff.

Stayed at both, Hotel Jazz and 1898. Both in good locations. 1898 little more expensive.

Stayed at Silken Concordia very near port, near the Magic fountains and La Rambla.
