vadraw Posted July 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2018 Does anyone know if Oceania uses the Port Valet service at Seattle that provides for bag delivery from your stateroom direct to your airline? Anyone have any experience with using this service? https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free Thanks, Don
Sea42 Posted July 30, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2018 The service is offered through all cruise lines but not all airlines or flights. https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free We used this service in June after our Alaska cruise with HAL and it work great for us. We had a 4 PM flight and spent the time at the Museum of Pop Culture with our grandson. (they had a bag check service for our carry on items). If your flight is qualified you'll receive the paperwork a few day into the cruise. There is no charge for this service but any baggage fees due to the airline will be charged to your ship account. You will receive your luggage tags and boarding passes the day before departure. You have to have your bags ready to go the night before (11PM on HAL). You do not see them again until your arrival at your final airport.

rallydave Posted July 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2018 While the ports website does say all cruise lines, it may not be true. Went to the website and then wanted to see how to track our luggage so clicked on that link and first thing it asked is to choose a cruise line. Oceania was not listed only mainstream cruise lines so appears upscale cruise lines are not included contrary to what the port says. This is probably because to mainstream cruises do the same cruises week after week while the upscale cruise lines are only doing a few cruises out of Seattle??
