Points with status match

I will most likely be recieving classic status when I do the status match. Each level has such a large range of points. How do they determine the points that you recieve?

You start with the minimum points needed to attain the level that you're matched to, so for

 

Classic - you start out at 1 point

 

Silver - you're given 2200 points

 

Gold - you're at 4300 points and

 

Black - gives you 10000 points.

 

You work up from those bases to the next level.
