GidgetWidget Posted August 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Hello experienced Windstar Cruisers. Does anyone know what additional perks come with the Owners Suites on the Legend, Pride and Breeze? Other lines provide priority boarding, laundry and beverage packages etc. Just curious if the extra cost is worth it?
sb44 Posted August 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2018 No need for priority boarding as they are small ships. Laundry is extra unless you have a package with your cruise. There is a bottle of champagne at boarding and some snacks delivered daily. The owners suites are very spacious and private which would be the primary reason for booking. Think small apartment. GidgetWidget Posted August 10, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Thank you fo the response. So in other words, there are no extra perks for an Owners Suite-Just lots of extra room! Is the Champagne you mention the Welcome Reception and the snacks the ones by the pool? Thanks again!
sb44 Posted August 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2018 A bottle of champagne in the suite as well as some welcoming hors d oeuvre's in addition to the welcome drink at registration. And they continue to bring hors d oeuvre's every afternoon. The cabin stewards are very attentive but they are on every deck and every ship. It's really what kind of space you want. If one likes to sleep late the bedroom can be closed off. The regular suites on the motor yachts are spacious but one room. As they say, different strokes etc....They are great ships and we love every accommodation we've had. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
new_cruiser Posted August 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2018 If I ever booked the Owner's Suite on one of the triplets, it would be on a very scenic cruise (e.g. Alaska, Panama Canal). The bow view from the veranda would be pretty spectacular for that.
