Wifi cheaper to buy ahead of time?

One of the differences is that you can purchase the wifi package by the day (or 24 hour period) once on board. When pre-purchasing online, guests must purchase a plan that covers the entire duration of their cruise. I've often only purchased the internet for sea days. A little research will help you find good wifi in port. So, while there is some savings to purchase in advance, I can save even more by just purchasing the few days that we won't be in port.

I took the cheap package and I think it was $5 a day prior to sailing it. It was spotty but was fun to send my sister and best friends pix of us and then be able to check in whenever it worked. It was a short cruise - 5 days so I didn't spend a lot.
