Tenerife Beaches

Are any beaches close enough to the port to make a visit worthwhile? Ideally, we would like to spend the day at a beachfront hotel. Any suggestions?

Assuming you are docking in Santa Cruz there is a nice beach - Las Teresitas which we reached by taxi. It wasn't far and was very nice.

Agree. It is a nice beach. We went there by local bus which stops just outside the terminal building. The beach is the last stop so very easy to find.

 

OP it would help if you mentioned which port you are docking at?

Yes, we are docking in Santa Cruz. Are there any hotels on the beach here? Does the beach, Las Teresitas, have restaurants and rentals for chairs and umbrellas?

There are quite a few bars and restaurants atLas Teresita and you can hire sun beds and parasols. It’s a man made beach as the beaches on Tenerife are mostly black sand.
