kentuckysailor Posted August 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2018 has anyone tried this one night restaurant on the Koningsdam ? Worth it?
taxmantoo Posted August 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Definitely worth it. Possibly, the best meal we have ever had at sea. Food experiences can be subjective, but we regularly visit fine dining establishments on land. While many ship restaurants have great reviews, none of them before this have come close to equaling an excellent "land" restaurant. The $69 charge per person is minimal compared to what a land restaurant would charge for the same quality of meal, which would probably be in the $150 per person range plus wine. freestyling Posted August 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 I agree that this “pop-up” Restuarant is worth the surcharge.

Quite honestly, there is not a single thing on the linked menu that I personally find appealing, and I always love exploring new culinary adventures. Wondering what others would choose to order from their HAL menu. Please shake up my lazy taste buds. What should I not be missing? (Certainly it will not be the "deconstructed apple pie" which is one of their signature home restaurant items too. Found the Chocolate Stones were a bit of a miss too.)
