E505/E506 Obstructed Balcony ?

Was looking at this room on either Regal or Royal Princess on the Emerald deck 8. Was wondering how quiet the room was as it is over a public area.

I worry more about sound traveling down from what's above than sound that could travel up.

"Princess Live!" is the closest public area under those cabins. That venue isn't used 24/7 and almost everything on the ship is closed by 10 or 11 PM.

my parents were in E502. It was quiet, even though it was above the public area and close to the elevators.

We will be in E505 next year on the Royal. Does anyone have photos from the balcony? I have seen Renmar’s :cool:

Go to cruisedeckplans.com and lookup the Royal Princess. There is all kinds of information about Emerald deck (and other) staterooms. The roof of the lifeboats only obscure downward views.
