Tauck's Amsterdam to Basel cruise, August 6th

We just returned from cruise on Rhine river from Amsterdam to Basel. First of all, the water level on the Rhine is extremely low and many cruise lines cancelled or made changes to their itinerary. We were very lucky that Tauck was able to keep the itinerary. Some slight changes were made but we made all the ports. We had a fantastic captain and the MS Inspire is a small vessel (120 passengers). As to the cruise, it was fantastic. I highly recommend Tauck. We love the all inclusive experience. We never had to sign for anything. We traveled with four cruise directors and they were all fantastic. The local guides were very good too. Food was good, service was awesome, drinks were poured all day long, crew was terrific, and we never had to worry about how much to tip and to whom. Tauck went out of its way to get us through. The ship was beautiful and so well taken care of. This was our first river cruise and it was very good.
