On the other hand, what time is the latest i should arrive for the dinner? There is a show for 5-5.45pm. If i go for that show time would be too Late to catch the dinner at MDR? ONECRUISER Posted August 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Do the 5:30 Dinner and make the 7:30 show... You don't want to show up 20min late to Dinner. Kind of messes up the Waiter, he trys keep all tables in his section on same timing, You that late slow's down other's meals...
Clarea Posted August 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Hello If I'm booked for 5.30 dinner at MDR, how long usually it will last? ... If you have a party of two, you can be finished in 60-90 minutes. If you have a large party, it can take 2 hours or more. Mention your time constraint to the waiter, they will do their best to accommodate you.
Rare moposh Posted August 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2018 On my last cruise, we told our waiter to speed up service. We didn't need to sit there for two hours and there wasn't a problem. Like others said, tell your waiter about your showtime when you sit down.
Rare island lady Posted August 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Skip dessert. Hit the WJ later for sweets after the show if needed. ;)
melissa723 Posted August 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2018 We just got off of the Allure, and normally our dinner service would take between 90-120 minutes, however, there were two nights when we needed to make our show reservations, and they happily sped up the service for us. Never had one problem. The waitstaff are incredibly nice and accommodating.
