dubaihammer Posted August 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2018 We are sailing on Ovation in October and have booked the iFLY experience. I was wondering whether the ship's photographers are available to take photos or do we have to arrange our own?
RiddySox Posted August 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2018 There should be! There was a photographer in June on Anthem. You're not allowed to bring your own camera inside the chamber though so husband and I took turns waiting outside to take pictures of each other and swapped halfway though. LeeW Posted August 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Three staff members for each session. Operator and photographer are in the bench area with you and instructor is in the tube with the person currently flying. Note that since photographer is very close to you that you might want friends/family to stand outside farther back to get better pictures.

BigHouseFootball Posted August 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2018 On my Anthem Cruise at the beginning of August there was no photographer. Which I thought was very strange since it seems like an easy money maker. I also watched a few sessions the next day and there was no photographer again. Melrosgirl Posted August 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2018 On anthem last year the photographer didn’t show up until the end of our session. Missed most of the divers.
Jenjer Posted August 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2018 We have always had photographers there. If your worried book 1/2 your party at 1 time and the other 1/2 a couple of sessions later more than a hour apart. Best pictures if you sit on the deck in front of the tube. Also book it early in your cruise (first sea day) then if weather doesn't cooperate you have time to reschedule.
Jimbo Posted August 28, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2018 See if this works. My wife took the video, but you can see the RCCL photographer sitting just outside the tube to the left. The laughing you hear is my wife. https://www.facebook.com/dchappine/videos/10205985005053792/?t=77 Jimbo:)
