Explorer of the Seas Gym on Embarkation Day

DH wants to know if the gym is open to use on embarkation day...prior to sail away?

 

We have been on the Explorer before so (pardon the pun) exploring the ship isn't necessarily a top priority and this would fill some of the time between getting onboard/rooms ready and muster/sail away.

The Gym is open - however I personally haven't noticed anyone working out prior to sailing before.

You will also find a lot of people wandering around looking at it but it is available.

Yes it is. I always check out the gym and shower locations once on board. On occasions I've seen others using the gym on embarkation day.

I knew it was open to check out/walk thru but never recall seeing anyone using it, so I just wasn’t sure.
