Same Day Flight - Should I Be Worried?

As others posted, I would NEVER fly in the same day of a cruise in Feb.

You have a lot more to worry about than weather in Boston. You are flying into D.C. and then to Ft. Lauderdale. You have to not only worry about storms in Boston, but storms anywhere in the country. You could be delayed because of snow in Chicago, depending on what plane is going to be used for your flight legs.

I had a flight from Boston to Miami, through Tampa. We had beautiful weather in Boston, landed in a sunny 78 degree Tampa, and had a 6 hour delay for the miami leg because of snow in Detroit. If you had a direct flight, you would have less to worry about..but you are depending on weather (in Feb.) for 2 legs of a journey.

Now, you will probably have no problems...but there is a HUGE risk.

If the weather looks bad for ANY part of the country (snow of course) I would see about flying out the night before.

Not trying to worry you, just being realistic. The chances are very good that everything will work out. But for me, it is not worth the gamble...

Good luck !!!
