Have any of Royal's ships sailed there in the past? Only been there once last year on another cruise line and it was a nice port except for my wife wanted to buy some cheap cigars for souvenirs. Local who befriended us at an outdoor business that had local beers near the port invited her to follow him to his 'cigar store' and she followed and the local closed the door. I was tending to our many purchases near where the ship was docked.

Long story short, door was locked once she got inside and it ended up being a place of prostitution. She said I need to go and she got out. Scary situation and I felt like I was too naive afterwards and should of not let her walk without me.

Just wanted to share this experience if other Royal ships go to this port. Only ones I have seen go to Havana, but I feel it is in the public interest to share either way.

Royal has only recently started going back to Cuba on the last few years, and only Havana to my knowledge.

Starting to read future Royal cruises are going there next year. Again, just want to warn others not to be as naive as I was.
