Mrs f. Posted September 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2018 We'll also be in Singapore for 3 days 2 nights but in February. Want to see the Gardens by the Bay. Better at night? We are at the Hilton. Definitely want to try the hawker centers. Anybody do any day excursions that they loved?

Subways make everything very accessible. We loved walking around china town; Also, so much of the Marina Bay area is walkable. We've been to Singapore 3 times, and the only tour we have ever taken was to the night zoo and Bird Park. We'll be in Singapore twice in the next six months and plan to go everywhere by subway or on foot. BTW, Sentosa is worth seeing, as well. Enjoy Singapore--it's one of my very favorite cities!:D
lolo11 Posted September 9, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2018 I loved the scenes of Singapore in the movie, too. A highlight of my days in Singapore this past February was the Night Safari. We were there about 90 minutes or so before closing and there weren't too many people there. We first did the tram tour and then walked through the trails. You can have a full day of sightseeing and end the day there, maximizing your time.
