I have to wonder if this was a rush job. Time will tell, it might just be a string of unfortunete events. Otherwise, we might have a contender for the next ship to be Sunshined. While the photo of the pier looks like it took the brunt of the collision, the ship sailed on with "merely a flesh wound"... (bonus points if you get the movie reference).
