Drink package on Majesty

We booked a Cuban cruise on the Majesty that sails next month. We booked back at the end of July. I have looked at my cruise planner every single day since we booked and have yet to see a decent deal on the drink package.

 

Normal price shows at $53 a day, last week it was "on sale" for 5% off, the price... $53.00.

 

In the past month I have also seen sales at 15%, 20%, and 25% off. Each time on these sales the price was $50 a day.

 

Am I just wasting my time looking every day and should just assume it's not going below $50 a day?

 

I dont get how they can legally advertise these sales. If 5% off is $53 how is 25% off still $50. Isnt this considered false advertising? To me this is very unethical and frustrating. If you want to put it on sale at $3 off that's fine, just dont list bogus percentage off sales.

I'd keep watching, there have been various reports from other ships of prices in the low 40;s.

Ignore the wording of any and all "sales".

 

 

Just look at the price.

 

If you are satisfied, purchase. If not, don't.

 

If the price decreases in the future, you can cancel and re-book.
