Rare doowopbob Posted September 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2018 Anyone know if there is anyway to raise the head of the bed. I suffer from Reflux and have my bed at home chocked up which helps with my problem. Anyone else have this problem and if you do how do you cope on a cruise? Mr Luxury Posted September 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2018 You could put a couple of door stops under the legs at the head end of the bed Sent from my iPad using Forums
Robisan Posted September 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) Anyone know if there is anyway to raise the head of the bed. I suffer from Reflux and have my bed at home chocked up which helps with my problem. Anyone else have this problem and if you do how do you cope on a cruise? I confronted the same issue. SB offers two types of pillows (foam & down) that have different thicknesses/amount of give. I pre-ordered one type and then once aboard asked the room stewardess for some of the other type. I then used a combination of three to create a pillow wedge - one pillow under the chest area and two under the head. Good luck. Just inform Seabourn before you go and they will modify the bed for you. :)
happy cruzer Posted September 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2018 If you have nights in hotels as well, you may want to purchase a foam slanted pillow. There is one that is only a couple of inches thick. It packs very flat in a roller bag, you can put it under your pillow to give pretty good support and incline. Rare doowopbob Posted September 13, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted September 13, 2018 Thanks to all of you for your advice. I'll try and see if Seabourn can make an adjustment to the bed or i'll bring the risers that I use at home.
