Christmas Cove snorkeling?

Any thoughts or experiences? Saw a ship excursion offering a snorkel trip to Christmas Cove for our upcoming December cruise.

We were just there in May of this year. The reefs took a big hit and are just coming back. We were in St. John and did a catamaran sail for the day and went to Christmas Cove and stopped at Pizza Pi VI (pizza from the boat). There were some fish and things to see, but not what it used to be.
