This new practice does nothing for us. In fact, is a big takeaway.  We always get the beverage package so going to a bar with a card accomplishes nothing.  Just the opposite.  In the Sky Lounge there are delicious snacks, good conversation with fellow passengers and usually music. View out the big windows and more.

For us also it is not about free drinks at the Elite Evening Events. As we normally have drink packages. We like the snacks and conversations with other who have cruised a lot. Michael's Club is nice, but some cruises it is great and other cruises it is dead.

When we cruise with friends that are not Elite or above. We have a cocktail party for our family and friends in our cabin before going to dinner.

Us too, it’s the social event not the drinks. Maybe like the burgers, if everyone still turns up to the sky lounge to have the drinks, celebrity may consider it doesn’t work

the Happy hour event is still being held in the Sky lounge ..as it always was except you are limited to 3 drinks. Going to a bar of choice they have added
