CRUIS4ME Posted September 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2018 A few years ago while on a cruise, we booked a beach break and I cannot remember the name...perhaps someone can help me remember the name. This was a small beach location, had a grill and bar...about forty chairs and umbrellas...the owner kept it very clean and did not allow panhandling. We took a little water taxi over to another little town across the water and returned. Then we went on a little skiff to a snorkel point off the beach. Snorkeling was nice, beach clean...etc. I believe he even arranged a taxi to pick us up at the port...and it was about fifteen or 20 minutes from the ship. Appreciate if someone can give me a name of this business.
tallyho8 Posted September 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2018 I've been to Costa Maya many times but have never heard of a town across the water that a water taxi went to. Are you sure it was in Costa Maya and not Cozumel or somewhere else?
lifes-a-beach Posted September 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2018 Sounds like you started at West Bay beach in Roatan. Water taxi to West End Village. Then maybe a skiff out to Lighthouse Point around from Half Moon Bay. There are no water taxis at Costa Maya that I’ve ever seen.
JT1962 Posted September 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2018 I agree, it does not sound like anything I have seen Costa Maya. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
CRUIS4ME Posted October 22, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted October 22, 2018 Thanks....HA...I knew I needed help. Indeed, it must have been Roatan as west end village sounds right... I will hop over to Roatan board. Guess I have to decide what to do in Costa Maya. Several of the beach places sound very nice....will look at it closer. Again...thanks appreciate the help.
