Lugo or stay in Coruna?

Going to Lugo with the ship's excursion makes a 7 hour trip. But researching both, Lugo seems more handsome and interesting. Yes? No? If the two places were of equal interest, I'd prefer a shorter day, but definitely willing to do the longer trip if Lugo far outshines Coruna.
