BettyB2 Posted January 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2006 I found this offered on a Carnival excursion list, but cannot find anything else out about this course (yes, I googled). South Ocean Golph Club This is a classic vacation resort course, an 18-hole championship layout brilliantly designed by Joe Lee. The course plays 6,707 yards with a PGA rating of 72 on over 150 acres of rolling terrain. Large greens and lush Caribbean foliage makes this a “must play” for any golfer wanting a taste of golf in the Bahamas. Par: 72, 6,707 yards Does anyone know where this is located? Have any of you golfed here? I cannot find a website for this golf course and need to know some prices. I personally am not golfing during our week there, but have around 8 guys that want to golf at least once. Any help would be appreciated... scubagirrl Posted January 11, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Last I heard, the South Ocean Resort (which I believe ran the Golf Course) was closed. The area looked pretty deserted last time I was out there. (South West section of New Providence Island). Here's the old number if you want to give them a call (tel. 242/362-4391) Try the Radisson Golf Course at Cable Beach. You can reach them thru: http://www.radisson-cablebeach.com/golf.asp
