JimandStan Posted September 29, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Quick revision for a typo that it is too late to correct in my original post . The scale of these models is 1:1250, meaning that 1 foot of model equals 1250 feet on the actual ship, making these Oceania models about 8 to 10 inches long. 1:250 would be something for a mantlepiece. As the Surgeon said to the patient, "Sorry for the misplaced colon".

JimandStan Posted September 30, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted September 30, 2018 Will they float? If so would be great for the bathtub. With my rubber ducky. I like it because I'm never quite sure if you are serious or if you are pulling my leg. These models would not float, because they are, quite literally bottomless. Sawn off at the waterline, if you will. Great for display, not so good for buoyancy. FWIW, the acrylic "ocean" bases, screw off for alternate display options. I was afraid my wife might have access to one of those strikingly handsome male models in all the brochures we constantly get! 😓
