Monorail Orange Posted November 4, 2018 Author #26 Share Posted November 4, 2018 ^ I was using it as an example of other upcharge venues. Like the Cafe Jardin on Oceana.

I think it'd have to be an act that I knew I was really going to like before I booked. Is it the same cover charge as the other paid restuarants (ie Ocean Grill or Sindu)? branddad Posted November 5, 2018 #28 Share Posted November 5, 2018 The limelight club was brilliant. Great food and great atmosphere. We saw Gareth Gates, not really my cup of tea but had to admit I enjoyed the show. Caribbean cruise March 2018 aboard the Britannia.
FangedRose Posted November 5, 2018 #29 Share Posted November 5, 2018 I too very much enjoy the Limelight Club. It is the only specialist venue where I really enjoyed the food, and even the show I wasn't sure about was enjoyable.
Rare P&O SUE Posted November 5, 2018 #30 Share Posted November 5, 2018 When we went on Britannia in 2017 it was £22 for the Limelight club. We really enjoyed the fact that you kept your table for the act, made for a nice evening. I was worried about the food because I wasn’t keen on the menu looking at it but it was lovely. We saw the Eric and little Ern act and a good time was had by all.
Monorail Orange Posted November 5, 2018 Author #31 Share Posted November 5, 2018 Hmm my initial reaction is £22 is "expensive" - but I suppose when you factor in the other upcharge venues are c.£15 then I suppose it's not that bad. Like I said though, I think it comes down to who the turn is, then what the menu is before I decide. Thanks for the replies though, it's good to hear positive comments about it. Guest ccpm Posted November 7, 2018 #32 Share Posted November 7, 2018 You will find the upcharge for select dining on Britannia is higher. £20 for Sindhu and £28 for The Epicurean on over 7 day cruises but the usual offers are available once on board.
